"As an instructor in community settings, I focus on helping students transfer their existing skills to book and textile art. I developing students’ knowledge about materials and tools to cultivate their confidence with hands-on problem-solving. I provide resources to help students hone their skills, but emphasize learning from mistakes over perfectionism. My teaching is driven by my own curiosity about materials and craft, and a desire to welcome and support adult learners as they experiment with techniques and process."
